The Danish-Italian designers GamFratesi developed the minimalistic Yuh table lamp together with Louis Poulsen in 2017. The fixture emits a downward directed and glare-free light with a shade that can be adjusted to optimize light distribution. A small opening at the top of the shade allows a soft upward light, adding to the atmosphere.
Created from a circular shape at the bottom to a linear opening at the top of the shade, the Yuh is both flexible and takes up little space. It can rotate, raise and lower illumination, creating ambience in any space. A button on the upper part of the tube acts as a switch and provides stepless dimming at 15-100%. Furthermore, a timer can turn off the light automatically after 4 or 8 hours, and allow it to be turned back on at a fixed light level
