Originally created by Vico Magistretti in 1989, Florian is one of the new 2021 designs remastered from the Acerbis archives. Ingeniously functional, the Florian represents Magistrettìs supreme simplicity, with a lightweight, multi-level table built on a foldable structure inspired by a broom handle, which collapses flat to hang on the wall as a graphic object of circles and lines.
In Francesco Meda and David Lopez Quincoces’s version, the Florian’s size adapts to modern living, its ash wood frame folds smoothly and quickly with a modern brass mechanism, and its graphic impact is bolstered with lacquered tones of mustard, green spruce and brick — a democratic passe-partout for the contemporary home.
